When I first visited McGill, I knew it was where I wanted to be. I was drawn by its academic excellence, the chance to learn from inspiring professors alongside talented students – and the beautiful architecture on campus.
My scholarship covers most of my tuition, allowing me to focus on my studies and future instead of financial stress. Thanks to donor support, I’ve been able to challenge myself, grow and make the most of my time at McGill.
From building a robot with classmates to helping first-year students connect through the Engineering Undergraduate Society, my experiences at McGill have made a remarkable impact on me. I’ve even built semi-professional video games through my involvement with GameDev McGill, a donor-funded group.
I am passionate about the intersection between art and technology. I love the abstraction and logical thinking behind computer science, but also the creativity and reflection in more artistic fields such as films, tech, and video games.
As I begin a new semester, I’m grateful for everything donors have helped to make possible for students like me. I had no idea donors were behind important student resources like scholarships and bursaries, career support, Athletics and Recreation, the Student Wellness Hub and so much more. Thank you!
